Fiona Ryan took up post as Commissioner for Survivors of Institutional Childhood Abuse (COSICA) on 14 December 2020.
The Commissioner’s role is to promote the interests of Victims and Survivors of institutional childhood abuse in Northern Ireland.
The Commissioner is independent and works with Victims and Survivors to promote their best interests.
