The Commissioner for Survivors of Institutional Childhood Abuse Fiona Ryan, has expressed her condolences on the passing of Her Majesty the Queen:
“My sympathies and condolences to the family of Her Majesty the Queen; her family have lost a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her Majesty devoted over seven decades of her life to public service. Her sense of duty, her steadfastness and her commitment to public service have inspired so many people who will be feeling her loss keenly today. My thoughts are with all those who loved her and are mourning her passing.”
